Result: Convinced prosecutor to convert the offense to a civil violation with an assessment of $150 in court costs

Result: After the filing of a pre-trial motion, Government dismissed the case for $150 in court costs

Result: After cross examining the Plaintiff during a full contested hearing, she left the courthouse and the Restraining Order was vacated/terminated against client.

Result: Assertion of 5th Amendment Right by Complainant led to Motion to Dismiss being allowed at Trial Readiness Conference.

9/17/18 - Springfield District Court
Charge: Violation of a Restraining Order, Domestic Assault & Battery, Strangulation
Result: Despite the prosecutor’s recommendation of a guilty finding and a period of probation, able to convince Judge to adopt the defense recommendation of a CWOF in order to ultimately get the case dismissed.

9/5/18 - Springfield District Court
Charge: Domestic Assault and Battery, Strangulation, Witness Intimidation, Kidnapping
Result: Dismissed. Field a Motion to Dismiss at the trial readiness conference on behalf of client.

8/27/18 - Springfield District Court
Charge: Violation of Probation on a Domestic Assault and Battery
Result: After convincing the Probation Department and Judge that client suffered from a variety of mental health issues, probation was terminated under a CWOF and the case was dismissed.

Result: Convinced prosecutor to Nolle Case after showing fatal flaws in trying to prove it (Dismissed).

Result: Filed Motion to Dismiss on grounds that improper charge was brought by Government. Motion ALLOWED; case dismissed.

6/22/18 - Springfield District Court
Charge: Operating after Suspension, License Not in Possession, Lights Violation
Result: Negotiated a dismissal of all charges after client obtained their license.

Result: Not Guilty after Jury Trial (jury returned defense verdict in 10 minutes)

5/30/18 - Springfield District Court
Charge: Distribution Class A (heroin), Possession with intent to Distribute Class A (heroin), School Zone Violation
Result: Filed Motion to Dismiss School Zone enhancement which was allowed after demonstrating police made error in applying for charge. Remaining felony charges were continued without a finding of guilt (CWOF) over the Government’s objection.

Result: Negotiated a short CWOF on lesser charge of misdemeanor Receiving Stolen Property

Result: Nolle Pros (Case dismissed)

Charge: Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B (cocaine), Resisting Arrest, Loitering
Result: After informing prosecutor of intent to file pre-trial motions, able to negotiate dismissal of Felony charge and a short CWOF on misdemeanor charge of Simple Possession of Cocaine

Charge: Assault on a Police Officer (x2), Assault and Battery
Result: Negotiated a full dismissal in exchange for a plea in another matter.
